Another Late Night

I am working nights, you know how I love 'em. Anyway, I really can't be witty, funny, or profound. I just want to sleeeeeeep. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Crazy Retro Things I Do

I wear an apron. I've ruined too many shirts.
I have more than 2 children. Pretty crazy.
I have chickens and we love gathering eggs. They are brown eggs, too!
I know how to render lard. I also know it makes the best pie crust. Pork fat really does rule.
I make my own pie crust. Yup, I really do.
Keep a garden and occasionally weed it and use its produce.
Against my will: I wash my dishes by hand :-(
*NEW* I washed some of my windows. Be very impressed.
Share household tips with friends
Iron my husband's shirts with starch :-)
maintain a "pantry"
tweeze my eyebrows (ouch!)
bake bread
freeze sweet corn
canning fruits and vegetables
