You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden... Let your light shine before all men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down
I gotta admit, I am truly affected by the weather. I feel a little like Eyeore today. I just want to snuggle up under a warm blanket with a hot steaming cup of coffee and a good book. The last thing I want to do today my normal daily routines. Just can't get myself going! Anyone else out there feel like that today? A nap would be even better than coffee and a book... if only I could find a quiet comfy place to hide (or a locked, soundproof room).

Well, I am right there with you Kris. I knew I didn't want to go anywhere today, but I did sort of have a vision of catching up on the checkbook and bills which I am grudgingly doing now. Coffee, maybe that's what I need! Hey, do you want to go to that movie tonight? I know Greg would watch the kids.
Kris, I'm with you! The only thing that salvages this day in my eyes is that Emily and I planted some spinach, lettuce, and carrots 2 days ago (and we got sunburned doing it, too! That's what being outside from 10:00 am till very late with pasty white MN skin does for ya!) and now I'm picturing those little seeds soaking up the rain and getting ready to poke out of the ground.
But the rain also means that it will be even longer before we can start tilling in the main garden... WAH!
Bummer, I have to work in the morning, so I hate to do anything the night before or I won't be able to sleep. I'm easily overstimulated! Maybe Sunday afternoon?
April, you're way ahead of me in the gardening category. I still have seeds sprouting in the basement!
We are fresh out of sound-proofed rooms here, sorry looks like we will have to fall back on plan B. What was plan B again? Did we ever get around to creating that plan.....
The garden sounds great. Fresh vegetables really truly have more flavor than ones from the grocery.
Oh, you know, coffee and a book--since no one will let her take a nap. Or she could blog some more. Then we would be entertained too!
I had a bunch of tomatoes and peppers in my coldframe--had to move half of them inside to make room for a heater in the coldframe. I WANT SUMMER!!!
Coffe and a book sounds good to me today--or a nap! Amber is it blustery and cold and sleety in Illinois? I have to keep going out and closing the hot tub! I had a patio block on top of it to hold it down and once it threw the patio block off! Why are we always surprised when this happens?
